Highest Paying URL Shortener
Whether you’re looking to earn a little extra spending money or wanting to maximize your content monetization, URL shorteners are a great way to do just that.
It can be tricky to find the best URL shortener to use when there are so many out there, and many of them are poorly designed or flat out scams. But if you want to find the Best URL Shorteners currently available, you’re in the right place.
Before we start, let’s first answer the question: What are Paying URL Shorteners?
Paying URL shorteners function like other shortening services such as Bit.ly, where they take a long URL such as: “https://incomeredefined.com/cpa-build-review-make-money-locking-content/” and shrink it down to look something like this: “http://adfoc.us/42015082360712“. The only difference is, when someone clicks your link, they’re shown an ad and you get some money!
Sounds pretty great huh? Well it’s not all sunshine and rainbows, because some advertisements use very malicious techniques such as redirects, pop-ups and more. Some even try and run malicious code or straight up send viruses to your visitors.
As you can imagine, this hurts not only your reputation, causing your visitors to stop clicking your links, but also the reputation of the URL shortener. But that’s where we come in! We’ve done the hard work of sorting through all the various websites out there and found the best of the best! So let’s get into the list!
1. ouo.io
Ouo.io has been on my radar for some time and they’ve been steadily growing to be one of the best paying URL shorteners currently available. They have a good selection of tools and payment methods to pick from and decent payout rates. Their advertisements aren’t as intrusive as some others on this list, but your visitors will still face pop-ups and the like. On the plus side, visitors will not have to disable AdBlock to use your short links. Read the full review here.
Payout Rates: $1.50 – $5 per 1000 visitors depending on country and they do count multiple views from the same person.
Payment Methods: PayPal, Payoneer, Payeer and Bitcoin.
Referral Commission: 20%
2. AdFoc.us
AdFoc.us was a bit tricky to place on this list because it offers the best visitor experience in terms of non-intrusive advertising and pop-ups. However, they do not allow traffic from social media such as Twitter, Facebook, etc. nor do they allow traffic from Messaging services like Discord or Skype. As long as you aren’t using any of those to promote, you should be fine and your visitor’s experience will be positive. Read the full review here.
Payout Rates: $1.40 – $8.00 per 1000 visitors depending on country.
Payment Methods: PayPal and Bitcoin.
Referral Commission: 20%
3. Oke.io
Oke.io is simple and well designed, has the standard selection of tools and a nice website interface. AdBlock users can still use your short links, but you won’t earn anything from them doing so. I believe that’s a small price to pay in order to keep your userbase happy, but there are some pop-up ads here and there. Their payout rates and referral commission do leave a little to be desired however. Read the full review here.
Payout Rates: $1.00 – $5.00 per 1000 visitors depending on country.
Payment Methods: Bitcoin, PayPal and Skrill.
Referral Commission: 3%
4. exe.io
Exe.io (formerly cut-urls) is one that I can personally say paid me on time without any hassle. Visitors will have to disable AdBlock and force their way through a bunch of ads, pop-ups and redirects. Their payout rates are very nice. I personally received a payment back when they were cut-urls.com.
Payout Rates: $3.00 – $8.00 per 1000 visitors depending on country.
Payment Methods: PayPal, Payeer, AirTm, Bitcoin and Amazon Gift Card.
Referral Commission: 15%
5. Short.am
Short.am is a URL shortener I’ve been on the fence about whether to recommend or not. Their payout rates are on the low end but they aren’t as aggressive with their ads as most other services out there. They’ve recently fixed the issue with website speed as far as I can tell which is a positive sign they’re moving in the right direction. Read the full review here.
Payout Rates: $1.50 – $2.50 per 1000 visitors depending on country.
Payment Methods: PayPal, Payoneer, Payeer, WebMoney, Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Referral Commission: 20%
6. SPaste
SPaste is a bit of a weird one because not only will it shorten links but you can also use it like you would pastebin.com, all while earning some money. In terms of visitor experience they offer one of the best with only a pop-up here and there but easily dismissible. Users can navigate through your short links/pastes with AdBlock running as well. However, their payout rates are definitely some of the lowest. Read the full review here.
Payout Rates: $0.60 – $1.00 per 1000 visitors depending on country.
Payment Methods: PayPal and Payoneer.
Referral Commission: 5%
7. Adf.ly
Adf.ly has been around for the longest of all on this list, so you may be asking, why is it ranked so low? Well unfortunately the spammy ads have gotten quite bad and it’s very difficult to get to the destination URL anymore. On the plus side, they do have decent payout rates and always pay on time, just don’t expect your users to want to click on very many links. Read the full review here.
Payout Rates: $0.50 – $6.00 per 1000 visitors depending on country.
Payment Methods: PayPal and Payoneer.
Referral Commission: 20%
8. Short.es
While Short.es may not have the highest payout rates, they don’t use the over-aggressive spammy ad techniques that other shorteners do. This should result in your visitors having a much easier time click through your links. That isn’t to say they don’t use pop-ups, pop-unders and redirects because they do, unless your visitor uses AdBlock which kind of defeats the point. Read the full review here.
